On March 6/09 I was pleased to meet with Young Adult author, Susan Juby to discuss my submitted work – my second YA manuscript – Almost Perfect.

Susan was informative and shared strategies for strengthening my writing.

During her residency at the Greater Victoria Public Library (a 4 month contract) on Vancouver Island, B.C.  she was able to host a series of workshops as well as assist new, emerging and established authors.

Her appraisal and feedback was outstanding. She was organized, encouraging and possessed a great sense of humour.

I was able to share my work at a special presentation at the library on March 27. It was exhilarating reading in front of an audience. I was pleased I took part in this programme.
